Add design time before this. Roughly a week for a leaflet, two to three weeks for a programme including your amends.
The five day buffer
We schedule every job to be delivered at least five working days before your event, and we quote that as the delivery date rather than the true production deadline.
That buffer is not padding. It is the difference between a courier problem being an inconvenience and it being a disaster. We do not give it up, and if a timescale will not accommodate it we will tell you rather than gamble with your event.
Where we deliver
Free delivery to a single UK mainland address as standard. We can split a delivery across multiple addresses, useful if leaflets go to your distribution volunteer while programmes go to the site, at no extra cost for up to three addresses.
Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland, timed deliveries and delivery direct to a showground on a build day are all possible but need arranging in advance, and may carry a charge. Tell us on the enquiry form.
Delivering to a showground: tell us who will be there to receive it and give us a mobile number. Pallets left at an unattended gate go missing.
Rush jobs
Anything under five working days carries a 25% surcharge and we may decline it. We would rather lose the order than take money for a job we are not confident of delivering on time. If you are genuinely up against it, ring us. Sometimes there is a way, and it usually involves changing the specification rather than the deadline.
If something goes wrong
Tell us immediately. Photograph the delivery and the packaging before you unpack. Most problems, whether that is a short delivery, damage in transit or a print defect, are fixable if we know within 48 hours and much harder afterwards.
Our liability is limited to the value of the order. We cannot accept liability for lost gate revenue or consequential losses, which is standard across the print trade and is why the five day buffer exists in the first place.
